The story is told of Walt Disney completing Disneyland in California, and then wanting to do something similar on the east coast.  So he began building Disney World in Florida, but he passed away before it was finished.  Walt’s brother, Roy, took over the project and saw it to completion.

On the grand opening day, with all the great festivities and excitement, a lady came up to Roy and said, “Isn’t it a shame Walt couldn’t see this?”  He smiled and replied, “Ma’am, it’s because Walt saw it, that it’s here today.”

Every great accomplishment must first be visualized in your own mind.  You have to see it before it actually becomes a reality.

What great things do you see for your future?  Anything is possible, but first you must dream it…you must see it…you must believe it’s possible.

As we get older, we tend to dream less, and put more and more limits on what we really think is possible for our lives.  It’s easy to get caught up in the craziness of life, so that all we do is survive.

Life is meant to be so much more than to just be barely hanging on.   You were meant to thrive, not just survive.

Somewhere in the back of our minds is the dream of getting that degree, or getting that dream job, or having that great relationship or marriage, or losing that weight and getting back in to shape, or turning that hobby into a business, or writing that book, or becoming a more patient parent, or running that marathon, or starting that website, or whatever that goal or dream is that you’ve been hanging on to.

It’s time to make that dream come to life.  Visualize it, see every detail of it, see the action steps you should take…and then follow Nike’s advice and “Just do It!”

Life is too short to not go for it.

Les Brown said, “The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry our their dream.”

Today, I want you to see your dream in your own mind.   See yourself moving from where you are, to where you want to be.

You were born to be great.  Don’t settle for average, don’t accept mediocrity.   Rise to the top, and unleash the greatness inside you!

Dream it! See it! Believe it! Achieve it!
